Corona Del Mar (10 minutes)
Corona del Mar offers beautiful sand beach and coves that
look like they come right out of a movie set. You actually may have seen
these beaches in movie and television productions such as Gilligan's
Island and current "made for TV" productions from Disney. On the
hills above the beaches stand houses and windy roads and a look out point
to enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and bay. Facilities:
Lifeguards, rest rooms, showers, picnic tables, and fire pits. Ocean
Boulevard and Iris Avenue. $6 entrance fee per vehicle, open 8 am to 8 pm

Newport
Municipal Beach (10 minutes)
Here you will find one of the most popular surf beaches in
the United States; but there is plenty to do in Newport Beach besides
challenging Mother Nature at the infamous "Wedge." Whether you
are skating and biking on the boardwalk or simply hanging out by a fire
pit, it will feel like paradise in the most exquisite places in
California. Facilities: Lifeguards, rest rooms, showers, picnic tables,
and fire pits. Metered parking lot and street parking. Open 6 am to 10
pm.

Laguna Beach (20 minutes)
The City of Laguna
Beach is well known as a unique beach community and artist's colony with
seven miles of City beaches running along its nine square miles. The
resident population enjoys the ambiance provided by the sandy beaches,
canyons and coastal hills. During the summer, several million visitors are
drawn to the resort environment for its picturesque beaches, art festivals
and the Pageant of the Masters. Laguna's village scale shopping district,
blufftop walkways and tram system create a pedestrian environment and
scale which is unique in Southern California.

beach, then you'll find paradise in Huntington Beach, California. With an
idyllic year-round climate, 8 miles of the world's most beautiful beaches, a
historic pier, and an incredible array of recreational and cultural activities,
